Since the show extreme couponing premiered on TLC im sure their has been a large increase in couponing..?

What would happen if everybody started to coupon? Would product companies adn retail stores stop giving away coupons? I personally do not think it was a good idea to create the show becuase this is a large possibility, if everyone realizes that they can get alot for almost nothing, wouldnt companies and stores lose money? Your thoughts?
